Our New Home

We finally had the chance to do some shots of the new house. As you can see there is a little snow on the ground, gotta love Wisconsin weather! We are definitely tired of "Old Man Winter" and ready for Spring.
As you can see we are blessed with a large yard, which Jersey has taken a love to. She has been enjoying chasing the bunnies and watching the robins come and go. One of Travis' favorites is the heated second garage, he is already making plans for the so-called "Man Cave". I, myself as well as the cats love the four-seasons room on the back of the house. Plans have already taken shape in this part of the house as it is serving as my new home-based photography studio.
Sorry no interior shots yet, the interior is still a work in progress but it is closer to completion every weekend. We will post shots once we have them. In the mean time you can Save the Date of Sunday, May 24th for our annual "Kick Off to Summer/Open House Party".

Moving photo opportunity

This is the photo I took in our four seasons room of our new home. Some of you may recognize it from "The Gust Family Has Moved" postcards we sent out. I have to say the photo was a lot easier than I imagined.

We are all adjusting to the new home. The pets are taking a little bit longer to get use to the new surroundings but for the most part are enjoying the added living space. The new house is twice the size of the old, not to mention almost 2 acres of land!

We still have yet to sell the old house, we are keeping our fingers crossed! If you know of anyone who is looking for a cute, low maintenance 2 bedroom home in Appleton send them our way!

As soon as the lawn dries up and I don't have mud up to my knees I will get some photos up on the site. We will keep you posted on the house-warming party, we are thinking the end of May. Our walls are still a little bare and there are a few more boxes that I found that need to be unpacked. Hopefully in a couple months it will be Home Sweet Home for all of us!

The Start of Blogging

Well...we are finally entering the world of blogging! We had good intentions of starting awhile ago but lost track of time due to life. I am sure many of you can relate!! So here we are, the first official start of our blog.

We know that many of you who will be followers of our blog will be family and friends, some that live near and most that live far. It is our hope that we can share with all of you the wonderful adventures of the Gust Family. Enjoy...
